About Aston Theatre Arts



The schools founder, Jay Aston, is a former member of the pop group, Bucks Fizz. The band had three UK number one hits and 20 consecutive top 20 hits. The bands success was echoed all over Europe, Australia, South America and Japan, reaching an audience of 1.5 billion, selling over 20 million records. Jay still performs with former members Mike and Cheryl today as OBF and last year the group celebrated their 30th anniversary since winning Eurovision with a sell out performance at the London Palladium.

At Jay's school learning is about much more than simply imparting knowledge. Jay believes that it's vital to provide individual support for every student to develop to their best and full potential.
